The aim is to highlight key safeguarding key issues, start conversations and raise awareness of safeguarding best practice.

Webinar on professional curiosity

On day 1 of Safeguarding Adults Week 2024 CSAB launched a webinar to tie in with the Day 1 theme, the webinar supports practitioners to understand professional curiosity.

This session emphasises the importance for professionals to recognise that clients’ upbringing, beliefs, religion, culture, and social circles influence their perspectives. It explores unconscious bias and the concept of malignant alienation, highlighting how these factors can affect relationships and decision-making in practice.
