Learning zone
Cumbria Safeguarding Adults Board (CSAB) is committed to a culture of learning and improvement. Central to effective adult safeguarding is a competent workforce and we recognise that learning can take many forms. The "Learning Zone" is a dedicated area for organisations and practitioners designed to enhance best practice for training and ensure staff access training relevant to their role in safeguarding adults at risk of abuse or neglect.

Tricky Friends animation
An animation aimed at all individuals, groups and organisations who support people with learning disabilities, learning difficulties and autism, to raise awareness of issues like exploitation, county lines and cuckooing. The animation also helps people to identify what healthy relationships are like and what to do if they think they have an unhealthy relationship with someone.

CSAB commissioned the local adaption of an animation about 'Home Takeover' otherwise known as 'Cuckooing,' a form of exploitation where criminals take over the home of a vulnerable person, often through manipulation or coercion.
Domestic Abuse Related Death Review (DARDR)
A Domestic Abuse Related Death Review means a review of the circumstances in which the death of a person aged 16 or over has, or appears to have, resulted from violence, abuse, or neglect.
